Kotaku releases information that details the release of Xbox Live's Arcade re-release of the N64 version of Perfect Dark will come with several levels and weapons from the classic N64 Goldeneye shooter. Fans were hoping for a full-on Goldeneye release as Microsoft owns RARE (the designer) but Nintendo holds the rights. After failed negotiation attempts, this is the best we can get at the moment.

WirelessGoodness.com has some FCC information regarding a couple of new PS3 models passing FCC. The only difference between the 2 looks like HDD size... but one wonders why caused it to change that it had to pass FCC again.

I've played Flight Control on my mobile phone and it is a trip. The page also says each one will be 500 Wii Points.

Liveds.fr has some interesting news and pics of the upcoming Sonic Collection for the DS. This includes Sonic 1, 2, 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Looks like a great addition to my ever growing DS collection.

Capcom released some juicy information about the latest installment of the classic Mega Man franchise to be released as a downloadable similar to Mega Man 9. Mega Man 10 continues the classic retro style and also offers a few new  perks to boot. New powerups include a Water Sheild and Commando Bomb.

Look for Mega Man 10 starting March 1st on Nintendo's WiiWare service, March 11th on PSN, and March 31st on LIVE.

Microsoft released videos of their new flagship mobile OS dubbed Windows Phone 7. Wired.com has a nice little write up on it as well as some videos. It appears to be fully integrated into Xbox 360 Live's Service and Facebook. Other features include Windows Live Search and other messaging applications. Other basic enhancements include a new keyboard style and menu system. It apparently can sync with Microsofts own Zune software similar to the way the iPhone can sync with iTunes.

Uncharted 2 update 1.05 will be released on Monday, February 15, 2010,bringing with it player health and weapon changes,along with 13 new medals and new online trophies.

iPhone Hacker George Hotz has posted via his blog that he managed to fully open the PS3 to custom code. In only a few weeks time, George and other professional hackers went from simply finding the exploit to breaking it wide open, according to his Twitter page.

Hopefully we can soon see some homebrew applications and games such as emulators and other community created content.
