Download to SD Cards Coming

Nintendo recently announced a solution to the limited memory contraints of the Nintendo Wii System Direct SD Card Downloading. This new feature, due out in Spring '09, will give an option for VC and WiiWare titles to be downloaded directly to the SD Card. This doesn't change the fact that VC and WiiWare games and apps must be launched from the Wii's 512mb internal memory. So while you can download directly to the SD card, you'll still have to copy the game to the Wii's internal memory before playing. You can read more about it here.

All entries are to be submitted to Feedback High Voltage.com . If your control scheme is picked, they will include your name in the credits.

RPG - Opoona Review

Opoona is a new RPG game and IncGamers.com has the scoop on it. The game has some pretty neat vector graphics. The Wii currently lacks some decent RPG games so this is a welcome addition. This game is a very cute and colourful little wonder, it rsquo s appealing and visually delightful at times. It rsquo s very well presented and I can see few seven year olds getting their teeth stuck into it and liking the little challenges and the easy battles that Opoona is faced with. Check out the review here.

As some of you know, the hot new addition to the Star Wars tale is Star Wars The Forced Unleashed. The US release is scheduled for Sept. 16th this upcoming Tuesday. I have had the chance to play a demo of this game and it will make a great addition to your Wii's collection. I don't want to give too much away but I did find this great video that seems to hit the sweet spots .

The new Animal Crossing was announced at E3, with the new title Animal Crossing City Folk. It will feature all the old things, and some new as well. There is a a new mask you can get also. If you want to really look like your Animal Crossing character, then you can put on a mask of your own Mii. How cool is that? A great, new toy is the Wii Speak. It allows you to talk to your friends over Wi Fi. Instead of a Head set, it's a microphone that sits on your TV. This allows all the people in the room to interact also, so make sure you put your underwear in the hamper before your mom comes in... ) Ninendo had this to say at E3 ...And much more! The scheduled relese date is November 4th, 2008. Source

Will De Blob be the first 3rd party title to become a success on the Wii console? I don't know what to think of it. It looks fun, gets lots of press coverage, and has high scores. Here's a video to decide for yourself. Leave comments of what you think.
